VNN Membership Incentive Programs

The Veterinary News Network has always been and will always continue to be focused on you...our members.  Our goals are to continue to bring you the most professional and trusted resources that save you time when preparing for local media, provide excellent educational resources for staff and clients and provide you with the means to gain publicity for your practice.  VNN researches, produces and edits all of our own material, including the videos and strives to stay on top of the ever changing media landscape.  We do all of this, provide personalized consultations for your media questions and bring you daily, weekly and monthly information with a staff that is smaller than almost every state VMA or specialty organization.

We understand your specific needs and we also understand that your business must set priorities in expenditures.  With that in mind, VNN is proud to offer these two membership incentives designed to not only encourage your participation with VNN, but also help ease some of the financial cost.

American Society of Veterinary Journalists Certification Credit

ASVJ Seal of ApprovalDealing with the incredible amount of "misinformation" about animal health in the media has always been a challenge.  Thankfully, the American Society of Veterinary Journalists (ASVJ) was created to help combat inappropriate medical advice for pets in any media setting.  In addition, the ASVJ Seal of Approval will provide media producers and editors with a standard that they can use to find media savvy and informative providers of animal health news for their local market.

We encourage all VNN members to become certified with the Certified Veterinary Journalist (CVJ) credentials from ASVJ.  Interested applicants will need to pass a written examination covering all aspects of media and provide three media submissions for evaluation.  You can apply for certification at http://asvj.org.   Applicants who complete their ASVJ certification prior to their VNN renewal date will receive a one time discount of $60 off their VNN membership dues.
